"I started Sheep and Raven Coffee Roastery to share with you my tastes and experiences gained from my long coffee journey and championship competitions. Here you will only find coffees that I myself could drink every day. Participating in competitions has opened me up to different flavours and preparation methods, so there is something for everyone."
Who is Agnieszka?
She is one of only three people in the entire world to hold two championship titles in two different coffee categories. A three-time barista of the year in Poland and four-time Polish Latte Art Champion, she became the first woman to win the World Barista Championship and the recent Coffee in Good Spirits World Champion in 2018 in Amsterdam .
If she had told her high school self, she probably wouldn't have believed it. Agnieszka, or Aga as everyone calls her, got into coffee when she was determined to stay awake and study for her high school diploma. She wasn't a fan at first, until she tasted a caramel macchiato in college. After a nudge from her father and many caramel macchiatos, she decided to find a part-time job as a barista alongside her studies. Just six months later, she entered her first latte art competition and the rest is history!
Agnieszka Rojewska is not only an extremely talented barista, but also one of Poland's most famous ambassadors in the world of coffee. The champion's history dates back to 2008, when she started working at Coffeheaven #134 in Poznan. Her coach entered her for her first competition, an internal elimination at the 2008 Polish Championships, without telling her.
"I started in a popular coffee shop chain, then opened my own. I attended hundreds of coffee training courses around the world, visiting roasters in different parts of the world. Privately, I'm a fan of the show Bake Off, Marvel movies, Juventus and Roger Federer. I love sports. I dream of having two dogs and moving to the country."
