Mamacoffee roasts coffee with a story. Since 2008 we have been roasting green coffee beans for you from all over the world, making us the oldest fairtrade roaster in Central Europe. Our coffee beans are carefully sourced and selected - we buy them under fair and honest conditions and, because we roast them ourselves, we can always guarantee its freshness. We always choose coffee from the latest harvests of small farmers, so you can expect our offer to be seasonal and change regularly.

Mamacoffee started after a trip to Ethiopia, where several friends had an idea to start an e-shop with freshly roasted coffee. In 2008, we obtained a license from Fairtrade International (FLO) and opened the first, and still functional, café on Londýnská Street. And since then, we've expanded quite a bit! In addition to our Londýnská branch, you will find our cafes in Vodičkova Street, Jiřák and Karlín. You'll be welcomed with a smile and a cup of coffee tailored to your tastes at all of our locations.

We keep a close eye on our coffee beans, from the beginning of their journey, all the way to when they end up in your cup. Being a part of a fair market is absolutely key to us. What's a fair market? One that guarantees that people in developing countries get paid honest wages for their hard work. Thanks to this, the children of our coffee farmers can go to school, there is no modern-day slavery and farmers can grow and develop their farms and focus on better environmental protection. We strive to create and maintain personal relations with all of our coffee farmers, we are interested in their stories and we try to convey their stories to you. In addition to coffee, we also import tea and sugar cane.

Cheesecake, sourdough, muffins, carrot cake, traditional cake ... We bake all this (and much more) ourselves. We want to be sure that everything is fresh and made out of good quality, seasonal ingredients, but most importantly, that it's delicious. You can taste all of our cakes in any of our cafes.

That is why we try to make high-quality, freshly roasted coffee easily available to both the retail and café network.
