Kavoholik is a roastery where coffee masters meet coffee lovers. In order to teach Slovak consumers how to complete this journey and achieve the desired coffee experience. We believe that anyone who has tasted coffee once can become a coffee addict. We realize that coffee drinkers are not just consumers, but the whole segment of households - households, offices - work, cafes and restaurants. Our aim is to satisfy the entire coffee segment, answer their needs and bring the concept of coffee literacy. That is, to increase awareness and skills about choosing, preparing and serving coffee, but also about choosing a coffee machine and its service. Because the only way the number of Coffeeholics will increase is when the consumer meets their expectations and gets the right experience. At the same time, the coffee lover emphasizes his skills in the craft of coffee, in the Slovakia in the heart brand. It is a locally roasted coffee that responds to the local needs of consumers by finding a flavor profile for them.

About us

  • Ján Holík, CEO of the platform

As he himself says, he used to be a tourist coffee drinker and until he met the coffee masters, he drank it contentedly with two sugars and a pint of milk. However, he learned from them how to drink coffee properly, and especially how to enjoy it. Suddenly his heart skipped a beat over this seemingly mysterious drink, whose flavors and aromas are as varied as those of wine. He considers his meeting with the coffee masters to be fateful, because it connected people with similar dreams. To build "something" Slovak that would please Slovaks - their senses, tastes and needs. For Ján, the Kávoholik project is also a challenge to fulfill the dream he shared with his father, and to leave a piece of his heart to his children and grandchildren in a brand that all generations in the family will be proud of. His advantage is that he has worked his way up to various positions throughout his career. From the lowest to the highest managerial positions in multinational companies. Therefore, he knows that everyone should be treated equally. In life, he follows the motto: I came, I saw, I conquered.

  • Danka Capáková, marketing director

She is addicted to coffee, cannot function without it, and therefore has a very positive relationship with it. She is willing to invest in quality coffee and never decides based on price. She knows from experience that cheap coffee is not what can satisfy her taste buds. She has enjoyed writing since she was in school, and for years she worked as an editor in a press agency, where, as she says, she learned to work precisely and knowing that every word counts. She later worked in the press department and as a press spokesperson. He considers it a gift that he can translate any idea into a coherent text. They follow the motto "dream, believe, work, achieve" and believe that nothing a person has is free.

  • Pavol Paták, coffee master and coffee machine expert

You will not find a more experienced coffee master in Slovakia. Not by age, but by 25 years of experience. The name Paták is a household name in the field of coffee and he is the man who created the coffee scene in Slovakia. He has been devoted to coffee his whole life. He sold it, trained about it, evaluated it at various competitions, dealt with coffee machines and had his own service in the past. For a long time, he wanted to transform his experience in this area into a comprehensive project. At the beginning of this year, he met the right people and together they got down to business. There is a special ritual associated with coffee. When he meets his father, they always have "turka" together. His dream is to conquer the world.
