About Prolog Coffee

We present you the Scandinavian roastery Prolog Coffee from the heart of Copenhagen. The main idea of this roastery is to celebrate coffee as a crop and of course their target customers. They are driven forward by a passion for coffee, knowledge and the transfer of acquired experiences. Therefore, in addition to visiting the coffee bar, the Prolog Coffee customer can also visit one of their events, arrange their catering services or simply choose from a wide range of specialty coffees.

Prolog itself began it's journey at the beginning of 2016. And why such a name, you ask? it is simple. The main goal of this Danish roastery is a satisfied customer, whether one who is waiting for their coffee in their cafe or one who is ordering their coffee in bulk. And because the difficult path of knowledge and effort leads to this goal, they are always looking for the most effective way to achieve these goals, and each such new path is also a new beginning - Prologue.

Prolog Café was founded in March 2016 by Sebastian Quistorff and Jonas Gehl. The space was originally intended to be a temporary installation, but thanks to its success, the permanent bar has become one of the most popular places to drink specialty coffee in Copenhagen. The roastery initially cooperated with KOMBO, which focuses on mediating food experiences. This caught on the fact that today they continue to cooperate, Prolog remained in the same place and together they manage to start a dialogue between their customers about the food itself, an integral part of which is just a selection of delicious coffee.

Prolog coffee believes that quality coffee can only be one that is properly priced. Therefore, they try to be as close as possible to their farmers, from whom they take green coffee. If this is not possible, they try to get coffee through selected importers, who are sure that they will provide the right price for coffee to those farmers so that they can contribute to improving their living conditions and actually thank them for their work and effort.
