There are coffees that you drink and forget about. And then there are those that wrap themselves around your finger, and you’ll think about them long after the last sip. Peru Adela from The Coffee Collective belongs to the latter category. This rare Geisha from the Peruvian region of Cajamarca is the essence of elegance – jasmine, bergamot, and raspberries blend so harmoniously that you feel like you’ve stepped into a flower garden where instead of water, there’s coffee. This is the first season we get to taste Adela's coffee, but we can confidently say: definitely not the last!
And who is behind this masterpiece? Adela! The farmer who decided her coffee wouldn’t just be another bean on the market, but something the world would remember. Her daughter, Carmen, introduced her to the world of specialty coffee, leading Adela to grow top-quality coffee. On her 2-hectare farm in Jaén, Adela teamed up with specialists from Caravela Coffee and started growing her Geisha with incredible care. And the result? Her coffee has crossed the borders of Peru for the first time, and we have the honor of bringing it to you. As if that wasn’t enough, her Geisha received 277% higher purchasing price than the usual standard. Why? Because when something tastes this good, it deserves the appropriate recognition.
