About Main Lane Coffee Roasters

Main Lane is a roastery in Berlin. At first glance, this German roastery is typical for its colorful packaging.

A small roastery in the middle of Berlin was established only recently, in the spring of 2022. Their idea is clear and they want to have coffee on offer, which they always carefully select and taste. They are always learning new things and coffee is not only a job for them, but also enthusiasm and a hobby. The roastery is run by two coffee enthusiasts, Marian and Sebastian. They focus on getting manufacturers into the spotlight and working and doing business in the most sustainable way possible.

They travel for the origin of their coffees, directly to the farms where the coffees grew. They establish strong friendships with farmers and learn from them new methods of processing and cultivation. The roastery calls this approach Direct trade. "We try to trade as directly as possible and use the contacts with manufacturers that Sebastian has established in countries of origin such as Brazil, El Salvador or Mexico. Because we follow the path of sustainable business, we try to produce as little waste as possible by using only materials that can be reused or recycled. We follow the same approach when making our coffee. We like to work mainly with farmers who share our environmentally friendly values. We want to develop close and long-term relationships with our producers and implement projects step by step. "

We can find coffees from farms that regularly participate in the Cup of Excellence, or coffees that are in charge of farmers. From fruity Ethiopia to Indonesia, from classics to specialties, we believe that if coffee does not entice you with its funky packaging, then the content will definitely.
