About Tim Wendelboe

A coffee superstar; coffee shop from Oslo's Grunerlokka quarter; uncompromisingly good coffee. Just some of the things that are commonly associated with the legendary Tim Wendelboe.

We couldn't count on one hand how many times Tim has been the Barista Champion in Scandinavia. We can, however, say for sure that this man and owner of the world's best roastery from 2013, is a World Barista Champion, and a two-time runner up World Barista Champion.

Tim's success isn't a mere coincidence. He's an expert in his craft, he wrote a book that even complete beginners use to get a heads up in the world of coffee, and he knows so much about coffee that he could probably open up a coffee-university :-)... but we'll stop holding you back, this world-class coffee is something you need to taste for yourself. Get it while it's still available!

Personally, I am of the opinion that the coffees roasted by Mr. Gardelli or Wendelboe deserve 6 stars.

Yes, it really is that good. No actually it's not acidic unless you dexterate it.

I can't say for 100% whether Gardelli or Wendelboe is better. But I can say that you will 100% not go wrong when you taste them.

As a bonus, their coffees are very easy to prepare (meaning, you can get what is in the description from those coffees without much effort, which is not always the case with all coffees).

Although Kenya Karinga only has two "flavors" specified, it is actually a coffee with a relatively rich spectrum of flavors. So don't be fooled by that. By the way, mine is excellent even almost a month after roasting, it doesn't affect the quality, the packaging is more than good enough.

It is expensive? Yeah it is.

But it's also adequately good.
