Get ready for an espresso that takes you on a bold flavor adventure. Guatemala UVAS by Klaro Coffee is a perfectly balanced blend of sweetness, bitterness, and fruity freshness. From the very first sip, you'll notice gentle nutty notes that gradually shift into a deep chocolatey flavor. And just when you think you know what's coming next, it surprises you with a caramel-like sweetness and a hint of green grape. It’s a classic espresso, yet full of unexpected layers – exactly what a great espresso should be!

This coffee comes from the renowned Guatemalan region of Huehuetenango, one of the best areas for growing specialty coffee. Thanks to the altitude of 1400–2000 m.a.s.l. and a unique microclimate, coffee trees here mature slowly, allowing for a more complex and rich flavor profile. The beans come from the Caturra, Catuai, Typica, and Bourbon varieties, which together create a beautifully harmonious combination of flavors. Local farmers with long-standing traditions pay close attention to every detail – from cultivation all the way to final drying.

The washed method gives this coffee a clean and bright flavor profile, highlighting its sweetness and balanced acidity. After careful hand-picking, the cherries are fermented in water to remove the pulp, and then dried on African raised beds, where they develop their distinctive character. The result is an espresso that’s subtly bitter, delightfully sweet, and refreshing at the same time. Whether you enjoy it straight or as a base for milk drinks, Guatemala UVAS is a great choice for anyone seeking a classic coffee with surprising flavor layers.
