About Intermission Coffee

At Intermission Coffee, they are determined to change the rhythm of the world. This London roaster's mission is to put people and planet first and change the coffee industry for the better forever. They strive to be at the forefront of sustainable selection. They strive to ensure that everyone in the supply chain is fairly rewarded and that our coffee does not cause unnecessary harm to our planet.

Intermission = a break: in the daily rush of life, at work, in everyday life, a break for an excellent coffee

Respect for coffee and people

A coffee tree can take up to five years to grow and start producing beautiful coffee cherries when ripe. Every single grain has been hand-picked and processed by diligent people in amazing countries around the world. Literally every single coffee bean has gone through someone's fingers to ensure it is of the highest quality for your cup. That's why Intermission deeply respects and values everyone who is part of the entire coffee supply chain. Every person from the farm to the cafe is part of the Intermission family. They work with suppliers who share these values and ensure that their work does not cause unnecessary harm to our planet.

At Intermission, they believe that what we eat and drink matters and that better coffee does not mean worse conditions for the world, but quite the opposite. Their goal is to show that quality and sustainability can go hand in hand.

In addition to roasting, Intermission is also in charge of a cute cafe, a refuge from the daily rush. When you're visiting London, you'll find them just a few minutes' walk from West Hampstead Overground. When you visit, you will know that Intermission is more than just a coffee shop. It is a movement for a better and more sustainable coffee industry.
