The Czech roastery Industra brings you a unique Guatemalan coffee, specially crafted for use in automatic coffee machines at home or in the office, to highlight its sweet and full-bodied notes to the fullest. This specialty Arabica boasts a flavor profile rich in notes of cocoa, roasted hazelnuts, and raisins. Excellent as a strong espresso with bold flavor or combined with milk—where it resembles creamy milk chocolate—this coffee offers the ideal experience for everyday enjoyment.

The beans come from the Jalapa region in the renowned Fraijanes area of Guatemala, where coffee is cultivated at high altitudes on farms that focus on traditional varieties such as Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, and Pache. Local farmers combine generational knowledge with modern practices, achieving high quality and a distinctive flavor that any specialty coffee lover will appreciate. Thanks to Guatemala’s natural conditions, the beans develop a bold and rich taste that captures the strength and uniqueness of the region.

The coffee is washed processed, which gives the cup a clean, fresh taste while enhancing the bean's sweetness and gentle fruity acidity. After harvest, the cherries are carefully sorted and then go through a washing process that removes the skin and pulp, highlighting the final flavor. This method ensures each bean delivers a full-bodied cup with balanced intensity and a smooth texture—perfect for both espresso and milk-based drinks.

cool and sophisticated packaging with a funky design
I had coffee exactly one week after roasting and for God's sake I wasn't able to set the lever coffee machine in such a way to get a dense espresso from those beans with a pressure of at least 8 bars, which of course affects the espresso itself (at the same time the extraction itself was always very short). Quite frustrating as I've never struggled with settings like this before with any other specialty coffee
although it is stated that this blend is precisely roasted for automatic/lever coffee machines, it absolutely did not work for me in the De'Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo lever coffee machine
I also thought that the mixture is not quite suitable for milk drinks such as Cappuccino or Latte (this is very subjective, but I didn't like this coffee very much with milk)
