About Paso Paso Roastery

Establishing a coffee roaster in Germany was not easy. It started with an idea that germinated in Hanover on August 23, 2022 in the head of one enthusiastic entrepreneur, Brám. His vision went beyond normal business goals - he wanted to create a business based on honesty, cooperation and transparency. It was not about offering a "silver bullet", i.e. a quick solution to all problems, but about creating real values. The roastery that was created is not only about coffee, but also about the stories of the people who grow it.

At its inception, this ambitious project relied on a strong founding team, made up of coffee farm leaders from various communities and, of course, Brám. It was something new - farmers became majority owners in the coffee value chain, which is quite unusual in the industry. Officially founded in September 2023, the company is called Paso Paso, step by step, symbolizing the journey these pioneers took to transform the coffee industry.

The Paso Paso roastery is now located on the border of two worlds - Central America, where the entire process from growing to selling coffee takes place, and Western Europe, where it is home to import, production and distribution. This dual approach allows the roaster not only to bring a wide portfolio of coffees, but also to connect different cultures and traditions with modern business methods. Whether it is the production of instant coffees or the mediation of rare species from family farms, Paso Paso wants to be a point of reference for the entire global coffee industry, an inspiration for innovation and a revolution in business and economic models. At the heart of this roastery are values such as provenance, transparency and accessibility, which allows customers to drink a cup of coffee without doubting its origin.

And finally, Fun fact: If we had planted a coffee tree the day we thought of starting this company, it would have grown enough to give us a small crop to roast now.
