About Coffee square

Coffee square is a Czech specialty coffee roastery from the picturesque town of Lednice. In addition to roasting coffee, the coffee square manages the e-shop of the same name where you can find their coffee, coffee gears and barista accessories. They have also opened up their own cafe where you can get a taste of their roasted beans from the source itself.

The owner and head roaster Martin founded Coffee square in 2016. Coffee is much more than just an ordinary drink for Coffee square- it is an everyday ritual, an embodied taste of distance, an instrument for meeting new people and a means of meeting old ones. Together with Káťa, who is in charge of shipping, customer service and invoicing, as well as Monika, who deals with business management and wholesale cooperation, they form a trio that stands behind the entire roastery. They are supported by a skilful team of baristas who have the whole cafe in Lednice under their wing.

Their goal is to create a well-established and long-term relationship with their customers. They want you to find out as much as you can about their coffee and the journey it had to take to reach their cup. They strive to ensure maximum freshness and the highest quality by roasting only such quantities that they can distribute to their customers. They only select coffee beans from small farmers with a transparent supply chain, which means that they know the story of each one of their coffees that they can then tell to their customers.  At the same time, they buy their green beans from reputable importers such as Falcon Coffees, Nordic Approach, 32cup and others with which they share the same goals: transparency, sustainable agriculture and fair remuneration for every farmer.
