Taste comes first
For the KB Coffee Roasters team, the story, marketing or origin of the coffee is not important - the taste always comes first. They choose coffee based on blind tastings and what really decides is how the coffee leaves them with a cupping (tasting) impression. They have long-term cooperation with partners who import coffee beans and, together with farmers, ensure that the entire process from cultivation to harvest is in accordance with respect for people and nature. Although the protection of the planet and a sustainable approach are important, at the moment of tasting it is above all the pure joy of taste.
A selfish choice of coffees?!
One of the unique philosophies that KB Coffee Roasters promotes is their "self-centered" approach. They buy and roast the coffee they love. They don't think about the market, they don't think about customers - their choice is completely honest and selfish. Each member of the team must love the coffee because it is what they will be drinking day in and day out for months on end. In the final, however, their coffee will be appreciated not only by themselves, but also by their friends, families and, of course, customers.
