Who we are?

We are a family business. Thanks to this, we are flexible and able to respond quickly to the demands of our customers.

Me and coffee...

Fine coffee is our life. We fell in love with their taste and would like to convey it to our customers as well.

What do we do?

Our domain is premium coffee and everything related to it. We are constantly improving and always looking for new opportunities.

When did it start?

We opened our first business in 2017 and since then we have been trying to expand our business in other directions.

We educate...

We opened the Barista Academy training center, where we pass on our knowledge and experience to other coffee lovers.

We are making coffee...

In our businesses, we offer only selected coffee of the highest quality. Our baristas are regularly trained.

And who is behind all this?

Vojtěch Růžička - coffee professional, barista trainer, company executive

He has been making coffee since he was 12 years old. He started competing in the Czech Barista of the Year championship in 2016 and managed to win the title in 2020. In 2021, he finished 12th at the World Championships in Milan. Other achievements include the vice-champion of the Czech Cup Tasters 2018 and 2022 and the vice-champion Barista of the Year 2022. Vojta also trained several competitive baristas who placed in leading positions. In the company, he is in charge of the training center, coffee consultations, the training of our baristas and the e-shop.

Matyáš Růžička - head of our businesses, coffee professional, company executive

He has been in the industry since 2015. Among his greatest achievements from competitions are 2nd place in the Czech Brewers Cup from 2022 and the final in the Cup Tasters 2022 category, from which he took 4th place. In the company, he is responsible for the management, operation and development of our businesses, recruitment of new team members and their training. Together with Vojta, he organizes barista courses in our training center.

Oldřich Růžička - The man in the background, supervisor, company executive

Background figure, business supervisor, regular visitor to our family cafe and bar, skilled taster, lover of good beer, good coffee and honest cigars, The Roses cameraman, lyricist, sound engineer, lighting, editor, director, father and man who brings to the family companies, mainly their many years of experience in private business.

Well, we are The Roses, simply coffee enthusiasts. We like beer and good food. We compete. We do business. We help.

not an exceptional coffee - it didn't surprise me, I was looking for a flavor profile very far away, definitely above average
