About The Coffee Collective

The dream that fuels The Coffee Collective roasters is to systematically explore the entire world of exceptional coffee, its properties and characteristics and as a consequence improve the conditions for coffee farmers all around the world.

A quality cup of coffee lies in the hands of three people: the farmer, the roaster and the barista. A roastery is constantly striving for a healthy and continuous cooperation between these three.

Because the coffee beans are grown so far away from its Danish headquarters, The Coffee Collective deem it essential to be as transparent as possible. To ensure this, they have created their own Direct Trade model, in other words, creating a direct sales relationship with the farmers which is subject to specific criteria. Buying directly from the farmers works on a very simple principle- the higher the quality of coffee beans, the more money the farmer makes, creating a perpetual cycle of motivation between the roasters and the farmer that enriches both the relationship and the final product.

Does not recommend
200g
Nice and familiar “fermenty” flavors, which aren’t too dominant or artificial
A bit more “bodied” coffee
Was a bit too hard to brew it consistently
More complicated to dial into fruitiness
