Fantastic taste, but unfortunately I can't describe it. I wouldn't say the flavors match the description, but at the same time I can't come up with a distinctive flavor profile.
Currently the best decaf (technically lowcaf) I've ever had. This would be the first one that I really wouldn't recognize as decaf. The ones I've tried always have a decaf flavor, but here it's not.
Smells exceptional, tastes exceptional. After first opening, I made this coffee expecting bitterness and I think the typical DAK characteristic "let it sit for 2-3 weeks and come back for better taste", but 7 days after roasting it is perfect.
I'd say I've tried more recipes and haven't been able to screw it up. It is simple in that sense.
Banana? Rather not. Mango? Rather not. Dragon fruit? Maybe.
It's sweet, maybe floral but I wouldn't compare it to chewing flowers. Maybe bubblegum sweet. There are a lot of things in the aftertaste, one thing I could confirm is basil with olive oil, but it's still a nice aftertaste.
Only the price, but I'm willing to pay for such decaf/lowcaf.
I'm finishing the last few grams and it looks like there isn't another batch, I'm going to miss it terribly.
