The experience lived up to the hype. From the first sip, I was struck by a distinct, almost cardamom-like flavor that sets this coffee apart from your usual brew
While this may not be an everyday coffee for everyone, it’s definitely something I recommend trying at least once:)

Very strong cinnamon flavor. I feel like I'm drinking something, that doesn't always happen to me at home.
Croissants in caramel. With a very large dose of cinnamon.
After opening the package, my colleague found it brutally sour, like raw tomatoes. I was giving it to her too soon.
Recipe
Nejlepší ke konci kilovky asi v poměru 30g zrnek na 600 ml vody.
J-max 3-2-0, papírové filtry na osmotic flow medium-dark.
First bloom 60g, 50 stupňů Celsia, 2 minuty. Pak do 328g druhý nálev s 90 stupni vody. Pak někdy třetí nálev do 600g. Krásná výrazná skořicová chuť.
Při klasickém 30 - 500 receptu po otevření balíčku spíše jak skořicová rolka s kardamonem.

not overroasted, roasted well
tasting notes are somewhat accurate
hype: I seem to have a very different taste from all those positive reviews, but I just couldn't like it, even if I tried really hard to like it
to me: overly cinnamon/cardamom notes that are not integrated with the rest of the notes
Tasting notes of weed, dried leaves, Turkish delight, mirabelle plum
Recipe
Method of preparation: high extraction is key, 98-99C and 1:18 ratio to extract enough to counteract the blatantly obvious flavors and make them more integrated. V60.

Interesting and balanced coffee, tastes like carrot cake.
The coffee is not bad, but this flavor is not my cup of tea, apart from the cardamom, I smell carrots in it and I have trouble finishing the pack....

The smell is clearly Carrot cake :)
So far my biggest disappointment with the coffees here, thanks to the hype around and the positive reviews I was excited, but even though I tried grinding and brewing in different ways, something doesn't fit and I really don't like the coffee, I'm struggling to finish the bag..

Clear and sharp notes

Really like this coffee ! :)
Depending on recipe and extraction's intensity, some note can take over the others like cardamom (and chai). In this case I suggest to lower the temp and/or grind coarser. Pistachio and vanilla/spongecake will then be more present and less cardamom.

Water temperature and grinder settings (Timemore Chestnut C2):

well, that depends

When you go finer with these beans (12 to 16 clicks) and keep the temperature around at 94 to 96 degrees, you'll get a sweet and tart cup with nuts and spices and cinnamon bun-style pastry notes that's so heavy on the actual cinnamon side that one might think it's a co-fementation (which I can't prove, but cinnamon co-fermentation hits differently). (The slightest) over-extraction at this point could also bring out a fair bread-like note which brings a nice finish to the cup

The funkier side blooms out of a coarser grind levels and the temperature that gives the brightest results is a 92 degree with a pour over grinder settings of 24 clicks.
This is where all the puns happen and you start to realise the palate experience is actually matters. The funniest comments were 'oh, a broccoli one' and 'much of a carrot cake here!' (the s...More

I'm still new to coffee, so I don't know what to expect for this price tag, but the size of the coffee beans wasn't very consistent

I really liked this coffee and it can be said that it makes me addicted to it :o)
Excellent and balanced, very interesting taste
I always smell a strong coconut chocolate flavor in the background, reminiscent of Christmas coconut chocolate balls with rum :o) I thought for a long time in vain before I figured out what it reminded me of, because all my friends I made coffee for also liked it, but no one liked the coconut chocolate flavor he could not smell or taste another
Too bad it's not cheaper ־
