About Miga Coffee Roasters
Arabica Q Grader and WCEP SCA Judge Wojciech Kaminski is behind this unique Polish roastery called Miga Coffee Roasters. The roastery is located in the town of Racibórz, located in the south of Poland, just a short distance from the border with the Czech Republic. In the roastery, they try to find the best coffee beans and also take full responsibility for them. Roasting and all activities of the roastery take place in the most environmentally friendly way possible. They simply strive to leave as positive an impact as possible in whatever they do.
Coffee beans are roasted on a Giesen 15 Craft roaster. In addition to the place with the roaster, the roasting room also has complete laboratory equipment for all important measurements, such as measuring humidity, density, the color of the roasted beans and the degree of coffee roasting itself, without which proper coffee roasting would certainly not be possible. Thanks to this, they have the entire coffee roasting process under control.
One of the main parts of their eco-friendliness program is also without a doubt the introduction of compostable packaging in which they sell and distribute their coffee. Miga Coffee Roasters is also considered to be the first ever roaster in Poland to take such a step towards improving the environment. Among other things, they continue their efforts for a green and clean Earth by using a special electrostatic system to remove smoke and odors before releasing the air from the roasting process back into the atmosphere.
