Concept Coffee Roasters is pleased to present our 2024 edition of Christmas Punch. It all started in the sun drenched days of early summer 2024 when the roaster began planning this wonderful Christmas treat. As the holiday season approaches, they invite you to indulge in the festive atmosphere with notes of creamy coconut, sweet tropical fruit, fresh citrus acidity, delicate vanilla and chocolate. This coffee immediately reminded us of the exciting tropical flavor of the Christmases of our youth.
Christmas Punch coffee comes from the Las Palmas farm in Colombia's Huila region, where the coffee craft is passed down from generation to generation. Grower Brayan Alvear grew up in the middle of coffee plantations in San Adolfo, where his father taught him the secrets and skills of growing coffee. Brayan collaborates with other local farmers and together they form a community that puts its coffee in the hands of the Ancla processing plant, where each bean of the coffee cherry becomes a unique taste experience. His passion is to spread the taste of Colombian coffee far beyond the borders of his hometown.
The coffee is the result of an innovative 144-hour anaerobic fermentation process with coconut water and lemon peel, which brings tropical freshness to the beans. This unique process takes place in closed tanks, where the cherries absorb the tropical flavors, and after fermentation, the coffee is dried in the sun in the company of lemon peel, giving it a light citrus touch. The final product, which we stabilize for 45 days after drying, brings you a rich and balanced taste with elements of citrus, coconut, lemonade and a creamy texture, ideal for festive moments with your loved ones.
