The whole calendar was very fun, I looked forward to trying something new every day.
The coffees were well spread out, alternating different types
Most of them were of a really high standard
I enjoyed the discovery the most
The price of 2000 CZK (in December during the sale for 1500) for approx. 480g of coffee (or 84 CZK for one package of 20g) is quite high and may deter some - although I understand that the preparation, preparation, packaging, etc. can certainly take a lot of work. And getting cupping is probably quite complicated for me, an ordinary citizen, and it would be even more expensive
There were a few uninteresting bits in the calendar
With the last two coffees, I expected my taste buds to shoot to the moon...which didn't happen. They were interesting coffees, also in processing and exclusivity, they were very good, but either I don't know it, or I simply expected something more.
Recipe
I made all the coffees in an Aeropress, I poured out 15 grams (I kept the other 5 for possible further experimentation - I'll probably make blends), ground in a Hario Mini Slim to about medium coarseness. After that, about 20 g of water for infusion is poured in, after 30 seconds I pour into the top of the Aeropress (ie about 200 g of water) and infuse for about 3 minutes. Finally, insert the Able metal filter, invert, whirl, wait and filter into a teapot or mug for serving. You could smell it nicely in the teapot and pour it well, unfortunately it gets cold here quickly.
