About Ride & Grind

Janis is behind the Ride & Grind coffee project. Janis has been in the coffee industry for 10 years and his dream has always been to have his own coffee shop. But that was financially unavailable, so Janis thought of combining her two passions — motorcycles and coffee. He built his 'café' with his own hands on a Soviet sajda from 1974. Since then you can meet him in various places in Edinburgh.

His love for bikes, as he describes his passion, began at the age of 13, when he saw the Dnieper moped for the first time. On the contrary, he gradually developed his love for coffee on his drives. "I don't think that the people who built my shed in 1974 would have thought that they would ever be driving around the most beautiful city in the world with a coffee machine on their back. That's the beauty for me — giving things a new meaning.”

Janis started roasting coffee in 2022 — manually, on a roaster he built himself. He then created a distinctive packaging for his product — a can like a motor oil can. "I couldn't imagine her in anything else. The container is resealable and reusable."

The woman chose this coffee according to the tones written on the website. And she liked her very much. I wonder what it was.
But yes, the taste is beautiful. Both filter and espresso.
The woman displayed the can. She probably likes to collect trinkets. That he will use it sometime. There are just too many metal coffee containers at home.
Right after opening, it was great despite the bad techniques, it was impossible to spoil anything about it.
The best was the first days after opening.
