The secret ingredient

We adore coffee. Passion and respect are ingrained into our entire process- from the meticulous sourcing of coffee beans to their roasting and distribution to your homes. We are continually perfecting our roasting process. Getting inspiration from modern methods from roasteries around the whole world, we add our own experience and theory, and we do believe that is discernible in the taste of your cup of coffee.  

Coffee from specific farmers or processors 

At Zobany coffee roasters, we offer only select quality beans with a story of their own. You will not find commodity coffee for a couple of pence on our premises. We believe that by doing so, we're changing the world for the better, at least our little corner of it. More information here. 

Freshness 

Our priority at Zobany roasters is to get our freshly roasted coffee onto your table as quickly as possible so that you have the longest time to consume it when it is at it's prime. We are most satisfied with the taste of our coffee usually from one to 6 weeks after it has been roasted. This is one of the reasons why we don't grind our coffee, and only offer this service at our shop- ground coffee has a much shorter lifespan!

We use Philco lever coffee with a Baratza Sette grinder and are super satisfied. With the right preparation method, coffee comes out as an ideal compromise between acidity and classic bitterness, and the crema is just right even from our ordinary "espresso machine".
