This Arara selection from the Minas Gerais region has been processed using the natural method and delights with flavours of yellow fruit, caramel and cocoa . The coffee comes from the Jaguar farm, run by the partners Natália Brito and André Luíz Garcia. The farm is located in the Campo das Vertentes area , where varieties such as Acaia, Yellow Catuai or Arara thrive thanks to the volcanic soil and the altitude of around 1,050 metres above sea level. André is an experienced agronomist and researcher at the Procafé Foundation, while Natália is in charge of tasting and sales. Together, they form a close-knit team that relies on innovation, quality and the development of not only their own production, but the entire community around them.
The processing was done using the natural method, i.e. the natural drying of the coffee cherries in the sun. This method brings out the natural sweetness of the coffee and adds subtle fruity notes. Jaguara prides itself on being environmentally friendly and supporting other farmers - introducing eco-friendly practices such as organic fertilization and sustainable farming, and helping small producers break into international markets.
