About Fjord Coffee Roasters

Fjord Coffee Roasters was created by combining the same dream of two Berlin cafes - Father Carpenter and Silo. In both cafes, they dreamed of their own roasting, but when they calculated what their dream would cost them, they knew they could not do it themselves. Fortunately, they did not betray their desire, joined forces and together they established this roastery in the eastern end of Berlin.

As the name of this roastery suggests, the whole concept is conceived in the Nordic style - especially in the matter of roasting. They put all their strength into creating the most delicious and varied flavors from carefully selected green beans. They work with partners who not only pay farmers at a high price, but also support educational and infrastructure projects on the farm site - thus closing the circle of specialty coffee: a satisfied farm - a quality product - adequate evaluation and development - a satisfied farm.

Fjord is not only a producer of high-quality coffee, but also a role model for others who plan to set up their own roastery, but cannot get the necessary experience, people and space. Sami advises: Connect, instead of a lone fight!

"From the purchase of coffee to its preparation, we prefer quality and honesty."

Beautiful aroma.
Balanced taste, just sweet, lower acidity.
I smell more apples and plums in the coffee, unfortunately I have to say that after reading the label I was expecting that "extraordinary" cinnamon flavor, which somehow didn't appear.
The coffee is good, I like it, but it is not a miracle.
I really dislike the packaging of this roaster, which is not resealable. Personally, I'm not a big fan of packaging coffees in a plastic bag and then in a paper box, but when the plastic bag is also without a zip closure, it's quite a hassle.
