April is the month of Planet Earth - and it is in this spirit that this exceptional limited edition from Berlin-based roastery The Barn was created . Earth Coffee is a coffee with a clear message: with every packet you buy, you plant a tree in the forest in Brazil. But that's not all - in the cup, a subtle and sweet harmony of flavours develops that delights both on the filter and in the espresso. Look forward to velvety smooth notes of plum, sweet frangipane and a caramel finish. This coffee is not just about taste, it's an experience that combines the joy of drinking with caring for the planet.

The coffee is sourced from the Daterra farm in the Cerrado region , located at 1200m above sea level. Daterra is one of the leaders in sustainable farming - the first Brazilian farm certified by the Rainforest Alliance and the only B Corp certified coffee producer in the world. In collaboration with The Barn, a unique lot of Petit Sundrop was created - a variant of the popular Sundrop coffee, created by carefully sorting smaller beans. As a result, the profile has shifted to an even smoother, sweeter plane and the flavour is elegant, balanced and perfect for both the filtered method and your favourite espresso machine.

At Dattra, they take extra care in the processing - and with Earth Coffee, they've opted for a special natural method with drying directly on the branch. They let the ripe cherries dry while still on the plant, which gives them maximum sweetness while avoiding defects due to the dry climate. This multi-stage approach, typical of Dattera, results in low acidity and an exceptionally smooth flavour profile. The whole process reflects not only their technological maturity but also their deep respect for nature. And it is on their land that THE BARN Forest is growing - a commitment to plant 40,000 trees that will be carefully managed for a minimum of 10 years. Join in with every cup.

  • Altitude: 1200 m above sea level.
