This grinder is the older cousin and successor of the acclaimed C3 model, which took the world of coffee and coffee beans by storm.
Timemore is constantly improving its products, so the C3 MAX version boasts the use of Spike to Cut (S2C) technology. You may notice that the inner lips have new vertical lines running through the top of them. This design cuts the coffee beans into smaller pieces prior to actual grinding, which is proven to provide a more consistent grind and faster performance. It is based on the Chestnut X grinders, but unlike this type they are 38mm instead of 42mm.
It's very simple, just set the grinder to the number of clicks and enjoy:

- Delicious filter: 13-16 clicks
- Top french press: 17-20 push-ups

Unlike the C3 version, this PRO version model has a folding handle. The aluminum alloy body makes this grinder a durable yet lightweight companion for preparing coffee every day, whether you're at home, in the office or on the go.
The second improvement is the increase in the volume of the grinder from 20-25 grams to 30-35 grams. This is the weight usually used to prepare 500 ml of filtered coffee. But do not be afraid of the increased weight of this precision machine, which Timemore has kept at 585 g, so that it is easy to carry and even better to hold. In contrast, the smaller version of the C3S PRO grinder weighs 530 g - upgrading to a higher capacity is therefore really worthwhile.
