Third Wave Water – Dark Roast Profile is an instant powder that allows you to create water with ideal parameters for dark roasted coffee, in line with the standards of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). Simply add it to distilled or reverse osmosis water, shake – and you have perfect water for brewing espresso or filter coffee with full body and rich flavor.
This profile is specially designed for dark roasts to smooth out bitterness and enhance sweetness while preserving chocolate, nutty, and caramel notes. It works excellently for espresso as well as various alternative brewing methods such as AeroPress, Chemex, V60, Hario, Kalita Wave, French Press, and more.
Dosage and packaging:
- 20 packets – each for 2 liters of water
- Enough to prepare 40 liters of water (can also be used to create a softer, "milder" water by mixing with 4 liters of water)
