This unique dripper was created in collaboration with Watanabeʼs indigo dye house in Tokushima Prefecture. To mark this collaboration, the Gifu Prefecture-based Koyo Toki factory behind the production of Origami products has developed a special edition of drippers in a limited color inspired by traditional Japanese dyeing techniques.
The name Sukumo refers to the raw material used in this dyeing process. Each piece is original thanks to the glaze, which changes its appearance during firing in the kiln. The white color is lightly sprayed at the end, which creates a subtle color transition and gives the dripper a unique aesthetic dimension.
As such, the origami dripper was developed and designed by Yasuo Suzuki, who founded Trunk Coffee in Japan. The design guarantees an ideal extraction time - not too fast, but not too slow either.
Origami Dripper can be used with both classic Hario V60 filters and Kalita Wave filters. At the same time, it is available in two sizes, S and M.
And also in several color variants: white, red, orange, pink, turquoise, yellow.
