The strainer is placed in the head of the coffee machine (Group Head), where this part comes into contact with both water and ground coffee in the portafilter. It is therefore an important component for preparing a great espresso, which ensures an even flow of water through the coffee. It is usually secured to the head of the coffee machine with one centrally mounted screw, which needs to be carefully loosened during disassembly.
The component has a total of 98 holes with a diameter of 3 mm, each with 19 micro-perforations. This enables an even distribution of water, which is necessary for the correct progress of espresso preparation. The design also helps keep the coffee machine head clean.
NT=NANOQUARTZ coating. Due to its high non-stick strength, this coating removes coffee residues more easily.
