Dripper Hario Mugen 02 is an alternative to classic Hario drippers. Allows you to brew one to four cups of coffee.

It is made of harmless plastic, is durable and easy to use. Its shape is different from the regular V60 - Mugen is designed for brewing coffee in a single pour. This dripper lacks internal ribbing, so paper filters stick to it as the coffee flows through the star-shaped grooves and boils slowly. You can also remove the stand from the dripper and place only the dripper itself on a container or cup. Would you like to start with alternative coffee methods, but you do not know what to choose? This Japanese gimmick will allow you to make the most of coffee in a simple and efficient way. The filtering method is great fun and allows you to experiment with coffee. Surprise your friends with the rich taste and aroma of coffee and the technique of its preparation!

Properties:

  • Made of durable plastic
  • For preparation of 1 - 2 cups
  • Compatible with size 02 filters
  • Easy maintenance with running water
  • Dishwasher safe

Possibility to use 02 filters for 01 coffee machine :D
The coffee maker has straight walls compared to the V60, so it flows more slowly. It also has a narrower hole for the star.
Very beautiful design.
I can take to work on a normal pouring kettle and I don't even need scales. And it's still drinkable.
It can get clogged.
The name can be deceiving, this is no ordinary V60 with grooves. If handled carelessly, both the chemex on the videos can become clogged.

A great tasting cup in the ratio of price, time and effort.
Speed and ease of preparation.
Consistently high quality cups.
According to the attached documentation, only the holder is heat-resistant up to 120 °C. The body of the dripper is heat resistant only up to 90 °C.
The recipe prescribes water at a temperature of 92 °C or 91°C. The water should pour fairly quickly within 15 seconds. Not all thermoregulating kettles allow this. For example, my Fellow Stagg couldn't handle such a fast pour and I had to use an older kettle in combination with a kitchen thermometer, thus losing the biggest advantage - simplicity.
