The Fellow Duo Coffee Steeper is a coffee machine that combines a drip and a server in one unique tool. The added value of the Fellow Duo is the controllability of the brewing time and its built-in metal filters. The Fellow Duo can be used to make hot coffee or cold brew.
The Fellow Duo consists of several materials such as stainless steel, glass, silicone and plastic. The built-in metal filter reduces waste as well as that unpleasant taste you sometimes get from paper filters. A full to the brim Fellow Duo prepares 620 ml of fresh coffee. Brewing time is about longer than 3-4 minutes, but this time is adjustable by turning the cap.
Instructions for making coffee in the Fellow Duo dripper:
- To begin with, we recommend rinsing the Fellow Duo with hot water to warm the container.
- Pour 40 g of fresh ground selected coffee into a heated container.
- Pour 30 ml of water over the coffee, wait 15 seconds and then add water to full capacity.
- After 3-4 minutes, just turn the top cap, the coffee flows into the bottom container and will be ready to serve.
Cold Brew can be prepared similarly to the Chemex, Hario V60 or other drippers. Pour coffee over the top, pour cold water and put the Fellow Duo in the fridge. After 12 hours, turn the top cap over, the coffee will drain into the bottom container and be ready to serve.
