The Italian electric grinder Eureka Mignon Zero is an improved version of the older Mignon model. It is designed mainly for espresso, but can also handle coarser grinding suitable for filtered coffee. The biggest advantages of this model include a hands-free fork, a durable metal body and an ACE system. The capacity of the upper hopper is 300 g of coffee.
Every barista knows that the most efficient working procedure is needed to prepare coffee, so the coffee will be delicious and ready quickly. The hands-free fork, which fits the portafilter and keeps it in place during the grinding of the coffee, offers great help here. Behind the fork is a button that starts grinding. That's why you just need to insert the lever into the fork and you don't have to worry about more - the lever stays in place and a dose of coffee is automatically ground into it. One dose of coffee can have a volume of up to 45 g. And you don't have to worry about coffee lumps or electrification in the portafilter - both will be taken care of by the integrated ACE system, which ensures a consistent coffee batch structure.
The grinding roughness is adjusted by turning the micrometer control knob on the top of the grinder. Grinding is very consistent and relatively fast - it can handle 1.2 - 1.8 g / 1 s for espresso. In the same way, with this device you can make coffee very well for preparing coffee on a filter at a speed of 1.9 - 2.5 g / 1 s. It maintains high productivity thanks to 55 mm flat steel grinding stones.
