Cafec, a Japanese company famous for its eco-friendly hemp filters for coffee drippers, has achieved popularity due to the quality of its products. Designed Abaca filters made from Manin hemp are distinguished by their function of faster water flow than we are used to from classic competitive paper filters.
Despite its popularity, Cafec has decided to make Abaca paper filters even better and today presents their new, FSC-certified, Abaca+ version. Abaca Plus are even more balanced and their use will be appreciated not only by home baristas but also by professionals. Cafec, as a pioneer in the production of paper filters, was always looking for a way to improve its products and move its production along an ecological path. The Plus version is the result of this effort.
Abaca+ paper filters are made with the new "Fine-Grinded" technology. Thanks to this method, it was possible to increase the surface of the paper by narrowing the distance between each crepe and thus increase the even flow of water during watering.
Compared to the Cafec paper filter versions for light and dark roasts, in which the degree of roast plays a major role, the Abaca+ are designed to create a faster water flow, giving the barista the space to use all his abilities to control the water more easily.
In addition to their design, Abaca+ are more environmentally friendly than ever before. Thanks to the reduction in the height of the filters, Cafec was able to reduce the packaging itself, in which the filters are packed in 100 pcs. It can be said that Abaca+ paper filters are a new generation product.
