Asobu Cold Brewer is a simple device that allows you to prepare coffee in two different ways- as a cold brew or traditional filter coffee. Cold brew is coffee that is made by soaking coffee grounds in cold water over several hours. The coffee prepared using this method has a very delicate taste, very little bitterness and it can be stored for several days.

Functions:

  • Practical- you can prepare up to 900 ml of coffee or tea- hot or cold without any paper filter
  • Enclosed and isolated jug- drink your coffee on the go! Keeps your beverage warm for hours!
  • Easy to use- add the coffee, pour your water, wait a bit and you're done!
  • Made from high quality, sustainable and safe materials.

Materials:

Asobu is made from materials of the highest quality. It comprises of an isolated jug, handle, heating vessel, a lid and a filter. The jug is made from stainless steel. When sealed, it can hold up to 1 liter of fluid and keep it at a certain temperature for several hours. The heating vessel is made from a material called Tritan- a high quality, BPA free, food-grade plastic. The valve can be opened using a button.

Cold Brew

To make yourself a delicious cup of cold brew, simply use the ratio of 100 ml of cold water to every 6g of ground coffee. If you want to make a full jug, pour 54g of coffee into the filter and add 900ml of cold water. Pop the lid on and you're sorted! All that's left is to wait 12 to 24 hours, then open the sealed lid using the button, add a couple of ice cubes and enjoy your delicious cup of cold brew.

If a cold cup of coffee is not what you fancy that morning, then you can also make yourself a warm beverage. Simply use hot water instead of cold and boil for 3-4 minutes. It's that easy!

About Fiftybeans

Fiftybeans is coffee roastery based in the heart of Moravia, in city Brno - 2nd biggest city in Czechia. Its founder and also the main roaster is Roman Nejedlý, who, in addition to running the roastery, regularly participates in barista competitions. In 2017, he participated in the Czech Championship in the preparation of filtered coffee Czech Brewers Cup, where he finished in 2nd place, a year later he placed first in the same competition. As a finalist, he also advanced to the world round, where he finished 12th (out of 41 participants). In 2019, he finished second in the Barista of the Year competition (Championship of the Czech Republic in the preparation of espresso drinks). He has experience to give away. Roman wants coffee lovers to feel as comfortable as possible with Fiftybeans. To enjoy coffee the way they like it. Drinking coffee is a ritual. A ritual that many perform every day. And every day can be unique.

The history of Fiftybeans dates back to 2013, when specialty coffee scene in Czech Republic was still in its infancy. At that time, it was very difficult to find quality among the "dark" Italian roasters, where all the coffee unfortunately tasted the same. Almost no one knew that coffee is a fruit and can offer much more than a unified bitter taste. So Fifty decided to change that. It will always be a long run, but at Fiftybeans they believe that only a patient approach can change anything. Today, their offer includes several types of coffee designed for different methods of preparation. Everyone will get their money's worth. All the coffee they have on offer is unique in a way that they want to drink every day. And they want to share these unique things with everyone.

Fiftybeans: "By choosing green coffee, we cover the whole range of flavors and aromas. We buy either from proven suppliers who respect this raw material and people associated with it, or the purchase of grain takes place directly from farmers. "Even green coffee is aging and losing its spark. We are trying to prevent this by storing it in air-conditioned warehouses as well as by innovative methods of freezing green beans. However, the hey is optimizing the purchase of coffee so that we can follow current world harvests."
