The ASCASO STEEL DUO lever coffee machine is a modern and designer piece for your kitchen that will satisfy even the most demanding coffee lovers. It is designed and manufactured in Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by a team of engineers at Ascaso and is built to a high quality and robust design that any coffee expert will appreciate. Only the best materials are used: metal dominates, of course (stainless steel, aluminum, brass), plastic is used only minimally. The coffee maker offers 2 thermoblocks that ensure a stable water temperature when brewing coffee and also a steam temperature when whipping milk.
What is Thermoblock?
An alternative to a boiler. It is a metal block that has a water-conducting tube in it. The heating element heats the block of metal, which then transfers the heat to the water tube. With this technology, further processing of the coffee machine is very important. Cheap basic coffee machines with a thermoblock are usually quite unsatisfactory, however, the technology and workmanship of Ascaso coffee machines brings a new and very innovative idea to the world of espresso.
Key properties of Thermoblock (aluminum + stainless steel):
- Fresh water. Only a small amount of water is always heated.
- Thermal stability. Quality in a cup. Thanks to the high heat capacity and the inner tube measuring more than 1 meter. Optimized by electronic regulation.
- 100% for food contact. Stainless steel AISI 316. No metals leak into the water.
- Less limescale. The stainless steel heating system facilitates maintenance, scale does not stick to the stainless steel parts as much.
- Steam. Powerful steam without limits. There is no damage to the heating element caused by a low water level.
